Coach
Dave Gray of:
"Coach Dave,” as he is known in the community, brings fun
and excitement to all of his work with his continuous energy and upbeat
personality. He believes that teaching young people the fundamentals and skills
of specific sports can lay the framework for children to enjoy future athletic
success and to develop a positive self-image. Working with kids and young
athletes is Dave’s passion and expertise. He has been running successful sports
programs and events for over 18 years. His best form
of advertising is the kids! They are the ones who sell his “work” to their
parents, making his sports programs the most popular in the area! Come see for
yourself why Dave Gray is the Ultimate
Coach! My Philosophy: There’s more to youth sports than just playing the game. It’s about learning life lessons like good sportsmanship, confidence and teamwork. Kids play sports for fun! Much of the time, that concept gets lost. Every child deserves to have fun while developing sports skills, overall strength, coordination, teamwork and self-respect, in a safe and nurturing environment. That is my mission – to provide opportunities and experiences that will make a POSITIVE impact and enhance the lives of our children.
A quote I hold dear in my life is – “If
you choose a life in coaching, you choose to try to make a difference in the
lives of the people you come in contact with.”
It is a mission that I pursue every
day. I love to help families. My
heart has to do this work. Through my undergraduate studies at Syracuse
University and my graduate studies at the University of Pittsburgh, my path has
been shaped by numerous work experiences. Some of the highlights include:
Early Intervention. Wraparound Services, Private Consultation, member of
various boards, online and print publications, BCBA Certification and
Supervision, and Adjunct Professor at the University of Pittsburgh. These
experiences and learning opportunities are what brought me to creating a
Private Practice that focuses on YOU and YOUR needs. Let's work together!
